MEET THE OWNERS

Hi there! We're the Dimmigs. After having two children ages 3 and 1, we noticed a need in our community: there was nowhere to play indoors within a 30 minute drive of downtown Waynesboro. We decided to change that by opening the Little Pinecones Play Cafe. We wanted to create a space where caregivers can be in community with one another, take a little breather while their children have fun, and kids can socialize while engaging in imaginative play.
Our goal is simple: Create a space that encourages creative play no matter what the season, and make that space be a place that parents want to be, too. A place where parents can meet parents, kids can socialize, and friends are made.
Who We Are
As a husband and wife team, our skills and strengths complement each other, and it all comes together in our carefully designed and intentional play space.

Manager; Co-Owner
Allison Dimmig
Allison has her B.S. in Elementary Education from Messiah University. She was a lead preschool teacher in Pennsylvania while in school before moving Waynesboro to teach 3rd grade for four years. After deciding to stay home with her two young children, she realized what our community really needs: a gathering space for children and moms alike. And so, Little Pinecones was born!

Co-Owner
Gordon Dimmig
Gordon has his B.S. in Environmental Science and his M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Resources. He owns his own business, Warbler Woodworks, where he builds custom furniture for clients.
